running JSP in J2EE , please help by replying

I want to run an JSP file which calls or uses an Java Bean, but i do not know where to put the files the .jsp file and the Bean class file in J2sdkee1.3 server. It will be greate if some body helps me , please reply where to put the files i.e to which directory. please reply back.

Hi Santhosh,
Put all your .jsp and other related files in your working directory only(eg c:\santhosh..etc).Files will be put into appropriate directories automatically at the time of deployment.
In the deployment wizard click 'new web component and go through as per the directions(ie add all the .jsp,.html and .java files)

It doesn't matter where you place those files, because as Dinesh mentions, you need to run through a wizard (new web component) to deploy servlets and/or JSP's on a J2EE app server. Once this deployment wizard is done, the app server will 'copy' those files and deploys them where they need to go.

Hi Dinesh,
Thanks foy your early reply, but yar can you be little more discriptive like the steps to run this wizard,are you talking about the deploy tool which is present in the Bin directory.Please reply back.
