i have passed my scjp last month
i would appreciate if someone could tell me if it would be right for me to go straight into j2ee or ejb
should i first go thru RMI, CORBA , java beans or can i go straight into j2ee or ejb.

If you are thinking of writing EJBs, go straight into ejbs or j2ee. You can, on the side readup on RMI,CORBA, etc. This is more of a handson concept learning.
In any case, this my opinion. Do as is the learning curve comfortable for you.
