Calling DLLs within a ejb

Hi,
Is it possible to call win DLLs in java code if yes,how can i do this

Yes... using JNI (Java Native Interface).
And if you do, there goes portability out the window
IMHO in an EJB it makes even less sense.
Maybe it would make more sense in a stand alone app that one expects to run only in Windows... ?

According to the spec, an EJB isn't allowed to use JNI. Not only is portability lost, but EJBs are operating inside a complex server environment to begin with. JNI could cause the server to behave unreliably.
