Hi all,

I am on h4 visa and trying for geting h1b through some consultants.
I visited one consultant, the office looked fine but they are asking for $2500 for the h1 which they say is refundable after a yr of working with them. I am ready to pay the amount but what if my visa doesn't get approved or gets rejected for some reason.

There is no guarantee that they will return the money and also what if they can't get a project for me ..

Kindly help if someone has gone through this kind of process.
I have to decide soon.

I think there is some agreement too that says that i can't work with any other employer for next 12 mnths.

please suggest!

Thanks

Hi,

I have a similar offer and I'm currently wondering about it. I have a stable job in my country for a big international company which I really like, but I plan moving to USA. What do you think about the practices in these consultancy companies?

Thanks to all of you, friends!

Cheers,
Delcho

Hi Maverik,

First let me know your skill set and if possible forward your resume..

I think, Now a days most of the consultatns are asking for money to process H1B as fee is little high. But, the Price may vary from company to company..

I work for decent company with 500+ employees..

The process is:

1. You may need to deposit $1200
2. You get the confirmation that you will receive $1200 back once you are
on Job with that company for 3 months..
3. You may be on percentage basis from Day-1
4. The company will take care of Green Card Processing..

Let me know if you need any help..cont me @ konda_100@yahoo.com
