sachin,
j2ee = java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition
yes with ur skill set u can develop an application.
Go to http://java.sun.com/products/OV_enterpriseProduct.html
to get an overview of what is involved.
To start off u will need an application server + webserver.. there are many available commercial and free and most of the commercial s/w have an evaluation download which work just as good but for like 30 days or so.
HTH,
Anup

Hi,sachin
Weblgoic is a good application server that I have used,and it's too expensive,but it can be used triable.
Jboss is very suitable for you.It's open source and powerful,I think.You can get it from http://www.jboss.org.
