My DB2 database containing images table has a field with data type blob
When I write the row for the first time, using cmp bean create method,
the data base inserts the row. But when the row is written next I get
the following error message:
>>>> EJB LOG >>>>
java.sql.SQLException: [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0301N The value of
a host variable in the EXECUTE or OPEN statement cannot be used because
of its data type. SQLSTATE=07006
at sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbc.createSQLException(JdbcOdbc.java:6031)
...
can anyone explain why this happens?
Thanks,
Ashish Saraf
