Can you clarify what you mean please? I take it you mean something other than "can I change the code after its written". What feature of stateless beans in particular are you looking for? What problem are you trying to solve? Kyle Brown ------------------ Kyle Brown, Author of Enterprise Java (tm) Programming with IBM Websphere
hi Thanx for reply. As you know how stateless and stateFul bean behaves. Actually i want to write StateFul bean but it should behave like stateless. I mean to say , are there any method in the javax.ejb.enterpriseBeans or in session bean so that your Stateful session bean shuold work like stateless session bean (that is its life cycle shoul change to stateless session bean.). If you know then please specify , how to achive it?
so that your Stateful session bean shuold work like stateless session bean (that is its life cycle shoul change to stateless session bean.
At runtime it is not possible. It is only in the deployment time when you specify what type of bean it is ie Stateless/Stateful will a stateful bean work like a stateless. Rahul
