Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could explain what ejbSelect and ejbHome methods are meant for.
I understand that in ejbHome maybe we could have some business logic that is related to a bean type, but any particular instance.
Or if anyone could suggest references where I could find further information on this that would be great.
Thanks,
Sony gam

Here's a tiny little quote from Richard Monson-Haefel's EXCELLENT book Enterprise JavaBeans, 3rd edition (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0596002262/qid=1002163992/sr=2-1/ref=sr_8_3_1/107-9205676-0304540) about the ejbSelectXXX methods:
"Select methods are similar to find methods, but they are more versatile and can be used only internally, by the bean class. In other words, select methods are private query methods; they are not exposed to an entity beans clients through the home interfaces."
I'd heartily recommend Richard's book to explain this and other vagarities of EJB 2.0.
