I'm looking for a J2EE compliant server, either an evaluation copy or something OpenSource that will run on WindowsME. Everything I've found so far is either for NT or Linux (or a Unix box, which is completely out of the question). I'm unemployed, just finished the SCJP, and want to get up to speed on EJBs in the comfort of own, under-teched home.
Thanks,
Matt Hicks

Matt, the J2EE reference download 1.3 release from java.sun.com/j2ee is a good starting point. It is EJB2.0 compliant, is free and very easy to use, and runs well for your requirements.
As for installation, check the posts in this forum on running J2EE servers. There a number of pointers on running the latest download on Win98 and ME.
Later if you want to move to open source you can download jboss (a very good open source EJB container) from www.jboss.org. I believe it has not been upgraded yet to EJB2.0
