EJB is not OO

Controversial statement but that is how i perceive EJB. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

I don't see the connection between the statement "EJB is not OO" and the article you cited. Could you please elaborate?

This question sounds familiar and I think the question is about separating persistence and behavior between entity and session beans. I've once written about this at http://www.subrahmanyam.com/notes/#BehaviorAndData.
One of the reasons this question surfaces is because some books on OO tend to imply this. The basic point of OO is encapsulation and abstraction.
