Hello all,
I want to get started using servlets but I'm becoming increasingly confused about what I'm supposed to do to setup my development environment!!!
Does anyone know of a good website I can take a look at that explains very very clearly and explicity how to go about it. I have a book (Developing Java Servlets) which I have followed and nothing worked! I have installed J2SE and J2EE on my PC (I want to develop on a stand-alone machine and then transfer .class files to the server later), have updated the path variable to see the servlet stuff j2ee.jar, but my servlet won't even compile because it can't find the classes - I'm getting very frustrated after how easy it was to get the J2SE working!
help!
regards, Ben.
