Running J2EE Application Client from Remote m/n

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi Folks,
Has anybody able to run J2EE Application Client from remote machine. My application client works fine on local m/n.
In a typical scenario the remote m/n may not have j2ee installed. In that case I guess we have to pack j2ee.jar in the application clients jar.
Thanks in Advance !

Hi,
yes the client machine must have j2ee classes in its classpath someway, and also the remote and remote home interfaces should be deployed with your client.

Yeah, thats fine, we need to have required J2EE Class librabries in classpath.
I extracted the client jar file and found that, it contains the ejb jar in it, may be for the home and remote interface. I have very preliminary doubt, I came accross people talking about, "client JAR stub files", I assume this reffers to the client jar and nothing else. Am I right here ?
Can anyone, post the step by step approch for clean deployment of application client on remote machine.
Thanks in advance !
Deepak.
