All,
In EJB 1.1, EJBHome and EJBObject can be CMP fields, but I never tried it. It seems that this does not make any sense. How can we store a home interface into the database? If we don't store them into the database, why do we need to mark them as CMP fields? I.e, what is the benefits for doing so?
Thanks in advance,
John Wu

I have never heard of this. As far as I know all cmp-field entries must be fields in the entity bean class.
