How advisable it is to leave an MNC with good salary and join TCS guragon in IT support just for onsite opportunities.

Joining in TCS does not gurantee onsite opportunity! It depends on your luck and many factors.
Most long term onsite visas (H1B/L1/Work Permit etc.) requires you spend minimum of 6-12 months in the company first.

However, if by joining TCS you get more salary than your present company, then join definitely.

As i hear form my friends that now onsite opp. are very few as most of the work can be dome remotely . May be one in 100 IT folks get the onsite work .
Don't be lured by this and many IT firms are playing this onsite game to attract the talent .
