Joining in TCS does not gurantee onsite opportunity! It depends on your luck and many factors. Most long term onsite visas (H1B/L1/Work Permit etc.) requires you spend minimum of 6-12 months in the company first.
However, if by joining TCS you get more salary than your present company, then join definitely.
As i hear form my friends that now onsite opp. are very few as most of the work can be dome remotely . May be one in 100 IT folks get the onsite work . Don't be lured by this and many IT firms are playing this onsite game to attract the talent .
