why ejb at deployment time  RSS feed

Well i have just started studing ejb.I have studied many articles but i can't find the answer why we need the third time that is deployment time and why ejb is at deployment time.Please exlain the reason.

There is no reason. because J2EE spec said so, and EJB container ventor implemeted so as well. you have to follow it if you use there implementation. of course, there is always a alternative, if you want make your own EJB Container, then you can disregard of J2EE spec.
but from what I know, this can save a lot of your coding time, you just tell your EJB container to do some dirty job for you and keep your EJB nice clean.
