Hi,
I have heard that it is possible to use a JMS request-reply architecture and thus return some value back to the publisher. How is this accomplished ?? Any pointers please ;-)

The way this is done is with two queues (or a Topic and a queue). The process receiving the request (from a Queue or a Topic) then computes the response and places it on a second queue that the sending process is listening on.

Hi kapil
I agree with kyle but need to elaborate more !
In request reply paradim , request will be send by requestor to jms provider (mq/messageq/jmq).this provider assign message id to that message which will treated as attribute of message .when message received by reciver ,receiver create responce as per logic implemnted and parallely create Temporary q (provider responsibility not developer)with message id and sent the message to requester .
I hope this would help to visualize request /reply
Thanks
