I am not too familiar with EJB but would like some help from some of the experts.
Lets say I have a Swing GUI that uses a Customer business object like,
class Customer {
private String name;
private String phone;
private Collection addresses;
...
}
If I wish to use this BO in the swing client, it would not be advisable to use Entity beans to represent the Customer and Addresses BO's. These BO's would map to repective tables. The reason, I say this is calls from the rich client like,
customer.setName(..) etc will be remote calls always. I read of the Value Object Design pattern that seems to solve the problem. However, how does one handle the Addresses BO's that need to be stored?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
