Are u kidding??? I guess it depends on the location...Salary May range from $80K - $100K

$80K - $100K salary range is for the U.S. citizens.

For H-1B alien worker, even $60K is still a bit high (unless the alien has verifiable track records).

Got USD 78K ..finally and yeah , I am an H1-B "Alien" ( I hate this word ) Doesn't this word carries negative connotations .. I always felt that non-immigrant is a better word.

I know few cases where H1-Bs(who have just finished MS degree) are getting 75K to 85K.Nothing exceptional in track record or in academic project.
