Hi, all:
I have a problem here. I only have Windows 98 at home (Arrgh!), and I couldn't install the J2EE SDK. What I really need is the J2EE API documentation. But I spent hours searching on Sun's website, they don't seem to have a bundled J2EE API doc set (such as a zip or jar file). The only way to get the API documentation set seems to be from the SDK full installation.
So, can somebody please kindly point me to a place where I can download the API doc set (either 1.3 or 1.3.1 is fine).
Thanks a lot in advance!
Howie

I don't know of a downloadable bundle. Online, you can view the J2EE 1.3.1 API Specification. Also, check out the APIs page. Finally, maybe you can use a web page grabber to pull the online documentation down to your machine. Some browsers have similar features built-in.
HTH,
Craig

Thanks, Craig.
I knew that I could view the API documentation on line, what I wanted was a copy that I can view off line.
Thanks anyway.

That's right ... it's now part of the platform download (16.5 megs for Win32).

That's pretty sad, isn't it? Especially for somebody who only has Windows 98
If you (or anyone on this site) has a copy of the API documentation only zip, could you upload it to the web so I could download it? I know this is a lot to ask for, but I'd really appreciate it!

Do you think Sun would mind me zipping them up and mailing them to you?
Simon
p.s. it's just over 1.5Mb

Simon:
If you could email it to me that would be great. My email address is howiewu@yahoo.com. I don't think Sun would mind, because this stuff is already available to the public, just not separately from the whole SDK bundle.
Thanks a lot!!!
