Hi,
I am currently working on an application which shows reporting in pdf format mostly. Some of these pdf's are generated on the fly while other are static. There are many pdf which have more than 500 pages, in them which takes a lot of time.
I think the best way to solve this problem is to show only a portion of pdf and on clicking on the navigation bar (on left side) will download another section. Can anybody help me in this regard? Any information how to do it. Any other options I need to see.
Thanks for the help.

Hi,
I worked with the same problem recently.
It is literally not possible to generate multiple pdf files on the client side.I went through all forums ,had lots of discussions with iText(the pdf generator company) and finally reverted back to the previous file.
Pl. let me know if u have solution to this.
Theoritically a response can open only one stream and so opening of one file at the client side is only possible.
regards,
Parag
