Hi guys,
I can access database from an entity bean when using the default driver that came with j2sdkee1.3.1 connecting to cloudscape database.
I followed the instructions by copying the oracle driver (thin class 4 driver) jar files to the J2EE_HOME/lib/system directory. Add to j2ee server using j2eeadmin -addJdbcDriver and add the datasource as well using j2eeadmin -addJdbcDatasource and then set the J2EE_CLASSPATH to the jar file as well. Set the ejb reference of the client as well. Also set the resource reference to the database. But when run the client, got exception ServerException with nested exception RemoteException with nested exception EJBException stating "Unable to connect to database. No Suitable driver". Does anyone experience this before?
Is there a way to check if the driver is successfully installed using j2eeadmin? Please help.
Thanks a lot.
Rastin
