port 7002

Hi Everybody
One thing i didn`t understand what the use of the port 7002.I mean when we type in url this host
http://localhost:7002 it shwoing some squre boxes in browser.
Can we run using this (7002) port servlets?
So pls help me if anybody knows this concept.

I think it would help if you could clarify what server you are using.
I guess that you are using weblogic 6.1 (stab in the dark based on port number)? It is possibly the HTTPS port of weblogic.
I found this:
C_serverSSLListenPort=
A dedicated secure listen port number for the WebLogic Server default server. The secure listen port number is used for secure Web connections based on the secure sockets layer (SSL) protocol. The default is 7002. To accept the default, do not modify this value.

right now i using weblogic7.o version.
so is it possible to run servlets with this 7002 port!

The default ports for WebLogic are 7001 for http and 7002 for https.
So if you have some servlet or jsp that requires a secure (SSL) connection (transport-guarantee attribute in web.xml) then you access that servlet using https://hostname:7002/servlet or whatever. Non-SSL things are accessed with http://hostname:7001/etc.
If you want to use some different port for http and/or https, you can just change them in the console.
