Hi,
I am migrating an existing application from WL4.5 to WL6.1. WebLogic User ID and p/w prompt message has to be displayed (like the prompt which comes up when starting a console). Can anybody help me out in the same as to whether any .xml entry has to be changed for the same?
Thanks in Advance,
Raads

Weblogic 6 now requires a password to start the server. This should be the password for the "system" user.
For development, you can avoid having to enter the password by using -Dweblogic.management.password=mySystemPassword
on the java command line.
Or, you can create a file (in the same directory where your config.xml is) called "password.ini" and put in that file the system password.
Was that your question?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
