Simple question, can you? I'm starting to use J2EE on a win nt server laptop
I am trying to get the path/classpath correct and running into problems.

Make sure you set your environment variable CLASSPATH to point to your j2ee.jar which is in the lib subdirectory of your j2ee sdk installation. Check for typos in your CLASSPATH, they sneak up you sometimes. If you are sure all this is correct, then make sure the CLASSPATH is set. Try set CLASSPATH from the command prompt. If all else fails, make sure the path is correct, then restart. Most of this appears simple, but I have seen folks get wrapped around the axle on this and kill a lot of precious time.

Not only CAN, but MUST. J2EE builds on classes in the JDK.
