garbage collection in distributed environment !  RSS feed

lets assume a scenario where a web server is on one machine ,application server is on other machine . how the garbage collection of EJB's happen ? application server can not recognize the client since communication goes in httpsession which is stateless.

Which is why there is a remove() method for stateful session beans. This has to be done explicitly or they "accumulate".

hi kyle,
my problem was not garbage collecting instances at server side. i am concerned about garbage collecting at client side.
how does it happen??
