when ever I make a change in JSP or servlet ,in order to have that change effective i need to recycle the weblogic.
Why is it so. Should I need to change any settings

Hi,
From the admin console select the application in the left pane. Then click on the Files tab. There is a setting there called Reload Period. If you are testing, then you will probably want to set this to 1 second. WebLogic will check every second to see if there are any changes. When you go to production, you will want to change this to -1 because you don't want to make changes while in production and forcing WebLogic to check will just cause unnecessary performance issues. Hope this helps!
