Query about "reentrant" tag in ejb-jar.xml file(in case of Entity Bean) ??  RSS feed

Hi all friends,
I am new to EJB I couldn't understand in ejb-jar.xml file in case Entity Bean what is the function of "reentrant" tag and what is the effect of value 'true' and 'false' of this tag.Can any one please explain it.

The reentrant element dictates whether a bean can call itself through another bean.
A given bean A is reentrant if A calls B,which calls back on bean A.
This is a Special case of multithreading because it is really only one path of execution that happens to loop back on itself.
If we would like to support reentrant behavior,
we should set this setting to True so that container will allow two threads to run inside of bean A at once.
