When a Stateful bean is evicted from memory, does a JDBC connection still exist?
I assume that it would exist but I have some material here that states:
"When a stateful bean is evicted, open connections to resources are NOT maintained with the following exceptions: remote references to other beans and the SessionContext, JNDI context, component interfaces, and the UserTransaction"
This does not include JDBC connection so do I assume that this is also an exception or do I assume that this is referred to as a resource that is not kept?
Thanks.
