Hi, I would like to know about the Future of J2EE/EJB Technology especially viz-a-viz CORBA and .NET or any other parallel technology. Basically where it stands know and where it will in future It will be great if u could provide some links to the pages where any parallel study has been done OR articles discussing the future of these Java Technologies. Thanx in Advance, Cheers, Vinayak
Hi Mark, Nice One... U really made me think. And this is what I found (I am great fan of "One Liners" ):: In a time of drastic change it is the learners who inherit the future. The learned usually find themselves equipped to live in a world that no longer exists. --Eric Hoffer
Depends on who you talk to. Obviously, you will get a biased answer to this question on the javaranch. However you should note that while the dot net boasters continually preach that dot net code runs faster and requires less code to achieve the programming objective, they never touch on security or portablitiy which are two areas of concern for many IT managers. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot bring myself to endorse the dot net platform.
No more rhymes! I mean it!<br /> <br />Does anybody want a peanut?
Thanx William, This is the shortest and the best thing I have got on the topic till now. I was so confused and it was getting really tough for me to make an opinion. It was great of u to have put everything in one line (As I told before I love One Liners, may be thats the reason it really hit me ). Thanx again, Vinayak
