Hi reader,
I have created an Entity bean on the Oracle Database table View. Everything works fine, until two simultaneous thread try to read from the entity bean. It throws Transaction Rollback exception. I am on Visual Age 3.5 env and am talking to Entity beans through Session Beans (facade layer).
I have tried with changing the transaction isolation attributes of the entity, but with no success.
Attributes of my entity beans are specified as 'read-only'.
i think even for the reading, sharable locks are acquired on the entity beans and when two threads concurrently gets the lock, deadlock situation occurs. i am not sure about this and don't have any clue how to fix this.
this is really urgent situation and i need to have solution asap.
i will appreciate, if you can provide me with some helpful input.
Thanks in advance

Hi Shikhar,
just for trying to help: Who/what starts those "two simultaneous threads" and how? In J2EE?
Maybe more later,
Thomas.
