I added some system.out's to my ejb so I could see what was going on - but something unexpected is happening now, that I would otherwise have been unaware of.
I added a blob to my CMP EJB, and now I've noticed that when accessing the EJB the container is doing several activate/load/passivate operations for one call.
I'm thinking that, as the blob is being brought in (it's only around 5K) it is normal for the container to do this?
The end result is correct, but is this behaviour "normal"?
Before the blob, I just had one activate/load/passivate.
TIA
Dave
