Not sure where to post this, so this is a start.
A generic question from a muddled mind..
When generating a .war file for deployment to my webserver, a directory of classes is placed under the Web-Inf directory that reflects the "tree" of my source files. I assume these classes are generated from those in the source directory. When I deploy the file to the server, then these are the only classes that go with it. Therefore, the application is running from those files, and I don't have to create a .jar or .ear to include the "source" tree not under the webInf folder...
Correct?

This isn't a web services question. Redirecting to the J2EE forum.
