Hi all, I have defined a many to many bidirectional relationship between
2 tables (A and B) in a RDB. The table have a link table (C) between them,
so i think it is correct that the link table has the two foreigns keys to
the base tables:
A: id int not null PK
B: id int not null PK
C: id_a int not null FK
id_b int not null FK
I created my CMR fields and that is correct. But when i try to put a new
value in the relation (i.e., put a new value for (id_a, id_b) with the
values form A.id and B.id) weblogic rises and exception (it's a SQL
exception from de database about referential integrity violation). The
problem desapears if i drop my FKs from the DB.
OK, the problem is solved, but what if i use the RDB from another app?
How can I ensure my schema referential integrity? It is related to the way
weblogic manage the CMR fields?
Ideas are welcome.
Best regards.
