First I have created the example ProductInventory with Pointbase for DB. Everythin is deployed on the standard server (for Sun One = RI).
The program works fine when using the test-application in Sun One ide.
Then I tried to use the MySQL database. I did the same thing for creating the example. But when testing in the testApplication I receive following error :
"java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is: java.rmi.RemoteException: Unable to get JDBC DataSource for CMP EntityBean state at com.sun.corba.ee.internal.javax.rmi.CORBA.Util.wrapException(Util.java:345) at javax.rmi.CORBA.Util.wrapException ..."
I used for JNDI => jdbc/MySQL
Perhaps here is something missing???
Can anyone give me some advice on using mySQL with EJB?
Thanks for any help,
EDS

You should download the latest MySQL jdbc driver.

Even with the most recent driver I can't get acces.
Is there perhaps a limitation with the server I use => default it is the RI (reference implementation).
Any suggestions?
Thanks for any help,
EDS
