Syncing cached data across multiple App Servers  RSS feed

We have a requirement to have our app support multiple app servers (currently WAS 4.0). We are using web containers to cache application data with an event model that updates the cache if a record is changed/added/deleted.
My question is: How can I sync across servers to refresh this data in another server's web container e.g. app record 1 is updated on server 1, now server 2's container needs to be notified of this event so it can refresh its own cache (with app record 1)?
I thought the PetStore blueprint had a model for this but couldn't locate it.
Would I need to use JMS (or MQ) ?
thank you in advance,
Max Tomlinson

JMS is probably the easiest way to do this. See the "Distributed Cache Update Pattern" at http://www.messagingpatterns.com for an example.

thanks, Kyle--
Too bad we're not on WAS 5.0 since it has already addressed this problem.
