Calling procedure IN EJB  RSS feed

I got some doubt regarding stored procedure execution in EJB.
Is it possible to call a procedure inside an container managed entity bean? if not why?
can u plz explain with example

Hi Prasad,
I think the answer to your question depends on the EJB container you are using. I know that OrionServer lets you specify the actual SQL to perform when executing a "finder" method for a CMP entity bean, so, theoretically (because I haven't tried it myself), the SQL you supply could be a call to a stored procedure.
So I suggest you search the documentation for the EJB container you are using -- or look for a forum that deals with your EJB container. For example, the "OrionServer" forums.
