Hai all,
If I am not wrong, Location transparency is nothing but, client actually doesnt know where the server object resides.
But in our client code, i give t3://localhost:7001. So what is the point in telling EJB supports Location transparency.

These properties do not and should not (for portability sake) be hardcoded. The better solution is to place them in a jndi.properties file for your application.

Hai Chris Mathews,
Actually I got the answer from my friends. The problem is the url whatever i was using is not for EJB server but for JNDI service. So I wasnt indeed locating the EJB server.
Any comments ?
