I'm using J2SDKEE 1.4, and am trying to work thro some examples in a refernce book I have. I am trying to run a .bat file in the J2EE_HOME\cloudscape dir, that will create a CLOUDSCAPE database. The script initially tries to call J2EE_HOME\bin\setenv.bat. I do not have this file, should it be present with j2sdkee 1.4?
.bat file>>
@echo off
call %J2EE_HOME%\bin\setenv
@echo on
java -classpath .;%CLASSPATH% CreateAgency
The bat file then calls CreateAgency.class file, and this reports the following error.
"java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: COM.cloudscape.core.JDBCDriver"
I have added the cloudscape jars to my classpath, so it now looks like this:
when I try to compile the CreateAgency.java file myself from within this directory, it complies without error.
I know some of this might be extremely basic, but I am really frustrated as I can't progress thro the exercises, and am a bit lost.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
