I am new here and I hope I put my question right. I have a table schema which has many tables with relationships between one another. How do I develop entity beans which will handle the associations? By which I mean, how do I handle foreign key constraints to other tables. We use WebSphere.

You can define entity beans with container-managed-relationship & map them to table-raltionships.
All you have to do is define the relationship in deployment descriptor (ofcourse some codeing is required) and have precise details on how the tables are related so that you can design your entity beans accordingly.
There are some tricky details you need to know to correctly implement this but its not that difficult.
Hope this help!
Cheers.
