Hopefully someone can give me a hand with an issue I'm currently having. I'm doing numerous look ups and interacting with a few EJBs within a stand alone java application which I've written.
Whilst it works fine on one machine, it fails dismally on another which makes me draw the conclusion that one or more of the ports required for EJB look ups/communication is blocked inbetween the server and the client in the second instance (all jars/jvm are the same on both client machines).
Could someone please tell me which ports the client will need to be able to contact on the server? If it helps I'm using IBM JVM 1.3.1 and connecting to WAS 4.05.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

It depends on your own configuration.
Check this IBM documentation for further information
