Can anyone suggest a best practices architecture and transition system to move a small online travel planning system to a scalable, enterprise level J2EE one that uses Web Services? The present operation is totally php, apache, mysql and linux. Management wants to see it J2EE, some app server, Oracle and a mixture of linux and windows. My background is mostly J2EE, BEA platform including portal, integrator, workshop and web services and I'm a consultant.
Thanks in Advance,
Chantal
