Guys, i think it would be a great idea to add a new forum under the engineering section: Architecting.

Since this is a relatively new area in software engineering and seems to be getting a lot of attention lately.

Hmmm. These topics DO fall under what an architect would do/use, but it would be great if we had a forum for architecting in general, were ranchers could give architecting advice, experiences, HOW to go about it, etc.

Just a thought.

As far as I can tell, the line between design and architecture is quite blurred - in fact, there even isn't a single agreed upon definition of what architecture is.

Perhaps if we renamed the forum to something like "Architecture and Design", using the current title as the subtitle?

People have requested new forums in the past. Generally, we wait until we see a significant volume of threads on the topic before we create the new forum. the "if you build it, they will come" philosophy just doesn't seem to work here.
