Hi,
Suppose I have a relationship between Department and Employee. I do a find by dept and dept bean as well the employees of the department, the relationship is handled by CMR. Suppose if new employee is added will the employee collection in dept get refreshed?

I would say no. Once you've done a SELECT stamement, you don't expect the ResultSet to grow while you're iterating it, right? The same logic should apply to finder methods, I think.

I agree with Lasse that the collection would not grow it if it already exists. But it would include the new value the next time someone executed that finder method.
