HOW TO DEPLOY EJB ON JBoss? I am frustrated

I AM FRUSTRATED WITH DEPLOYMENT ON JBOSS
I have my ejb compiled.
I wish to deploy them .
What is the correct way to do so?
Please gimme steps to do so:

create the jboss.xml DD for jboss , add it to your meta-inf dir and make the jar file for the EJB.. then just copy it to the
%JBOSS_HOME%\server\default\deploy directory....restart the server...and voila!!...
although this might be a slight hack...

It said when you started JBoss, you can point your browser to localhost:8082, but I found out that at newer JBoss, that didn't work.
You can just ignore that one.
