True for most of the companies but there are few companies (Again i would say it depends on which project you are working for...as work culture differs from One project to another..)where these kind of issues are relatively less prominant.

learning rate is high....you will get hands on experience to handle the project....there will be personal attention....and the developement work
only drawback is, work load.....but you have to do it for your career...there is no short cut

Hey you can talk to your PM/Contact Person about what things he has planned for you..if you ask this in correct context with proper language i think...things would start rolling
I talked to my PM several times, i always get the same replies, projects are comming.

Do self study. And if a call to a project comes then a senior person is send for that Project. Though i am doing the work on my part by preparing for SCWCD or helping out other if they have any problem.
Let me know what are the consequences, if i break my bond with my company

But you can always start your search with smaller companies(instead of Brand-name companies), which dont advertise abt their requirement. USe your friend network to find such firms, visit them personally to drop hard copy of resume and have look at their work location and talk to employees working there.
Its tough. I know. But I did the same way and landed in a small company - and I am happy with my decision. I had full opportunity of working on live project, learning tools and tech and gaining exp in Development. As a person, u get recognition in small firms - ofcourse u need to put in lots of efforts to build your career - also Pay Scale wont match up with Branded companies.
After two years of heavy dev work - I was easily able to switch to Bigger Company with good pay and perks - jus because I had exposure to lot of things in smaller company before.
Its individual decision to join for good Career or good Pay nad Brand. It affects in long Run...what say??

But alfred, one can't actually decide his/her first company. Company decides the candidate.
