Hi all,
I am stuck up with a basic error which am unable to sort out ...
Compiling my EJBs is the problem. All my classpaths appear to be correct on Windows XP.
JAVA_HOME = c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02
J2EE_HOME = c:\j2sdkee1.3.1
path = c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\lib\j2ee.jar
And the compile errors it is giving are the basic ones:
cannot resolve symbol javax.EJBObject
cannot resolve symbol javax.ejb.SessionBean
cannot resolve symbol javax.ejb.EJBHome
etc ...
MY j2ee server and deploytool are running fine.
Now what more are its demands to work properly???
regards,
Shashi.

You have not set the CLASSPATH but you have set the path. Use
SET CLASSPATH = c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\lib\j2ee.jar

I'm not sure that you mean for those bin directories to be in your classpath though.
the bins should be in the path, and the JARs in the classpath!

hi but i am still stuck ...
I have set the classpath and path seperately as said but still its not working ..
classpath=c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\lib\j2ee.jar;c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02\lib;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\lib;
path=c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\bin;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\lib\j2ee.jar;c:\j2sdk1.3.1_02\lib;c:\j2sdkee1.3.1\lib;
I wonder what else it wants to work , the j2ee and deploytool are still working!!!
regards,
shashi
