DB- Transaction  RSS feed

If my database doesnot support transaction will the transaction attributes applied on my entity bean will work

I haven't tried but I'd guess the JDBC driver throws exceptions when the EJB container attempts to manage transactions...

You can use the 'NotSupported' Tx attribute.

Like in an application i the entity bean is already coded with tx attribute - as Required but when i had chaned my db which does not support transaction
will it work.

I have this requirement but not have the actual setup db installed.
So not sure whether it wil work or not, and based on that we had to take a decision

Can't you change the tx attribute?
