For JSP Servlets it is Cerification Guide by Hanumant Deshmukh, For EJB, it is Ed Roman.
If you are not familiar with any server side technology (whether ASP, CGI, or any similar technology) then I would also recommend reading Jave Server Programming Volume 1 by wrox, but dont read that book for any other purpose than to get basic fundas because it gives lot of code examples of industry standard and a new comer will surely get bogged down by the complexity of the code and will soon forget to focus on basics.

Hi Ameya,
As mentioned earlier the Roman book is your best bet for getting started with EJB. The servlet and JSP books are countless. The Core Servlets/JSP's book is supposed to be good but I have not personally read it. Another must have for learning how to do J2EE well is the Core J2EE Patterns book. And of course these forums are a great place to get lots of great info.
Good Luck!

Hi Pradeep,
Thanks for the interest! It should be out by Dec of 2003 but the spec is abou to go through a revision. We are very hopeful that there will not be any major changes but you just can never tell... If there are lots of changes that will probably require some delay in publishing the books as we revise existing chapters and possibly write extra chapters. But as I said I'm hopeful none of these major changes will be necessary.
We will be posting sample chapters and hopefully doing a couple of promotions.
TTFN,

Don't worry, Bill, we wouldn;t think of doing the promotion without you! I haven't scheduled any promotions for next year yet.
