Situation, I am building an ejb module that will be deployed to weblogic 8.1. I need to call a method in a servlet that is running in a separate web application. I will also be setting request attributes used by the servlet. Possibly not the doGet and doPost method. How would I go about doing this from the EJB implementation to the servlet method?
Fundamental problem is there is a static object in the webapplication that must be used but cannot get to it from a different ejb module deployed. Both are in different JVMs. Any information on a solution would be greatly appreciated.

I guess you need to make a genuine HTTP request to the web application. It's ugly but apparently the only choice. You could consider using HttpUnit, jWebUnit or some other library for making the HTTP requests.

Do you have an example on how to accomplish this?
