How BMP is faster than CMP.?

Please let me know how BMP is fater CMP eventhough BMP codes are written by us.

BMP might be faster if you're doing optimizations that the container is not able to do because of lack of information. The container has to "play safe" and can make decisions based on only the specifications and configuration files.

Well, I don't have any good examples (might tell you something about the probability of being able to outperform modern CMP engines...) but generally speaking, the application developer usually knows something about the entity that she cannot describe in the deployment descriptor. For example, "this entity's state can only change in the database between 1 AM and 2 AM so skip ejbLoads outside that time period" cannot be expressed to the container's CMP engine.
